CONDER, Ruth Waddington
As Ruth Waddington Bellis, she was born at Ipswich in 1923, daughter of Alan Waddington Bellis, master at Ipswich School of Art, and his wife Florence Livingston[e] Thompson (4 June 1891-16 March 1983) who married at Hull, Yorkshire on 19 August 1919. Ruth married at Ipswich on 22 November 1952, William Muskett Conder. A painter in watercolour and a Friend of the Ipswich Art Club from 1974 but does not seem to have exhibited. Ruth Waddington Conder died at her home in West Cork, Ireland on 10 December 2011, aged 88, leaving three daughters. Her ashes were interred in Ipswich Cemetery.
