MERRICK, Maria Green
Maria Green Merrick was born on 19 November and baptised at St Nicholas Church, Chiswick, London on 15 December 1844, daughter of Thomas Merrick, a soldier, and his wife Caroline. As Miss G. M. Merrick, a member of the Ipswich Fine Art Club 1885-1888 and exhibited from 27 Harley Street, Marylebone, London in 1885, three oil paintings 'Blossoms of the Dying Year', 'Golden Heralds of the Spring' and 'Little Victims of the Gun Club'. The London address of 27 Harley Street was taking in boarders 1881-1891 and she boarded there during 1885-1888.
