PIPE, Leonard John
Leonard John Pipe was born at 30 Park Road, Ipswich on 25 January 1915, son of William Pipe (5 October 1864-29 October 1943), a builder, and his wife Dora Elsie née Bone (31 January 1885-27 April 1973), who married at Ipswich on 15 May 1908. In 1911 they were living at The Gables, West Mersea, Essex but in 1921 were living at 30 Park Road, Ipswich and in 1939 were living at Thornley House, Rushmere Road, Ipswich. Leonard married in the Samford district of Suffolk in 1948, Jean Elizabeth Robson (30 October 1926-1 June 2010). A member and exhibitor at the Ipswich Art Club from 1954. Leonard John Pipe died at 4 East Lawn, Ipswich on 8 January 1989.
