CURTIS, Kevin Hugh
Kevin Hugh Curtis was born in the Hartismere district of Suffolk in 1958, son of Hume Redvers Curtis (25 May 1927-11 September 2004) and his wife Christine Eleanor née Walker (28 August 1930-December 1993). Kevin began painting at the age of 18, and about 1998 became a professional artist. A landscape artist in oil and acrylic, Kevin has always had a love of the East Anglian landscape which is often reflected in the changing seasons and light within his paintings. Working from The Bush, Banyards Green, Laxfield, Woodbridge, Suffolk he exhibited at Picturecraft Gallery, Holt, Norfolk. He married in 1981, Carole R. Clarke and had a daughter and two sons and in 1990 he was living at Willow Cottage, Owls Green, Dennington, Suffolk. Kevin Hugh Curtis died on 18 January 2009, aged 50. He may have also been known as 'Ken Curtis'.
