TURNER, Mary Grace
Mary Grace Turner was born at Lexden, Colchester, Essex on 11 March 1911, daughter of Percy Harry Turner (21 January 1881-23 April 1959), a railway clerk, and his wife May née Ridgewell (25 May 1883-3 February 1970), who married at Lexden in 1908. In 1939, Mary was a solicitor's managing clerk, living at Balruman, Long Road, Lawford, Essex with her parents Percy and May with a sibling sister Ruth Joan, (2 April 1920-18 March 2016), a post office clerk. As Mary 'E' Turner, an associate member of the Ipswich Art Club 1967-1971 and exhibited from Long Acre, Long Road, Lawford, Manningtree, Essex in 1968, a watercolour 'Greater Bindweed' but does not seem to have exhibited again. Mary Grace Turner of Long Acre, 176 Long Road, Lawford, Essex died on 16 October 1975, she was unmarried.
