HARRIS, Nicole

As Nicole Barnard, she was born at 4 Wolsey Crescent, Morden, Surrey in 1938, daughter of John Frederick George Barnard (19 April 1910-6 June 1982), a carpenter, and his wife Doris Mona née Nicholas (7 September 1915-7 June 2007), who married in Surrey in 1937 and in 1939 were living at Morden. Nicole studied at Sutton College of Art and life drawing at St Martin's School of Art in London. She married at Surrey NE in 1961, Gordon Victor Harris and paints under the name of Nicole Harris. Nicole taught for a few years and as a member of the Ipswich Art Club, she exhibited from 29 Hasketon Road, Woodbridge, Suffolk in 1977 four paintings, 'Kyson Point', 'Woodbridge Tide Mill', 'The Orwell from Levington' and 'Valley in North Wales' and in 1978 two paintings, 'All for the Pot' and 'Dahlias' and was a regular exhibitor showing from the same address in 1980 three paintings, 'Roses', 'Aldeburgh' and 'Melton Boatyard' and in 1990 exhibited from Boundary House, Cransford, Woodbridge, Suffolk 'Sutton Heath'.
