HOWARD, Raymond Desmond
Desmond Raymond, sometime Raymond Desmond, Howard was born at Norwich on 9 February 1929, son of Henry Howard (28 September 1896-23 October 1961), a turn shoemaker, and his wife Beatrice May née Barnes (25 May 1899-1987), who married at Norwich in 1918 and in 1939 were living at 37 Half Mile Road, Norwich. Desmond married at Norwich in 1950, Myra or Moira G. Shingles (born 1933). A member and exhibitor at the Norfolk & Norwich Art Circle 1957-1959 from Banham, Norfolk and in 1979 exhibited at the Ipswich Art Club from Old Hall (Community), East Bergholt, Suffolk two pictures, 'Dancers' and 'Dawining'. As Raymond Desmond Howard he died at Norwich on 6 September 2002.
