DUNCAN, Mary
As Mary Treadwell, she was born in the Deben district of Suffolk in 1943, only daughter of the two children of Clement Frederick Treadwell (21 June 1906-1999), a warehouseman, and his wife Peggy Doreen née Cole (3 September 1918-2006), a postal clerk in a sub-post office at Shottisham, Suffolk, who married at Ilford, Essex in 1941. Mary married in the Samford district of Suffolk in 1969, Andrew Duncan and paints under the name of Mary Duncan. A member of the Ipswich Art Club from 8 Crofton Road, Ipswich and exhibited in 1985, three paintings 'View through France', 'Bean Sticks' and 'Ivy'.
