MALCOLM, Alison

Alison Frances Malcolm studied at Ipswich School of Art 1977-1981, graduating licentiate member of the Society of Industrial Artists and Designers. Her work is semi-abstract, expressionistic, colourful, and highly textured using oils and acrylics and a painting knife, slowly building layers to create texture and depth and has a real love for painting in the Suffolk countryside being inspired by nature's seasonal changes, the sea and coastline with all its moods and our diverse local landscapes. She has exhibited at Buckenham Galleries, Southwold and Reunion Gallery, Felixstowe, both in Suffolk from 1 Morston Hall Cottages, Morston Hall Lane, Felixstowe. Alison married Anthony David Flower.
