CHASE, William Bertram Ernest
William Bertram Ernest Chase was born in the Mutford district of Suffolk on 30 September 1914, son of William Victor Chase (1887-28 March 1938) and his wife, Hilda May née Hood (26 December 1889-25 July 1982), who married at Mutford on 13 December 1913. Young William married at Wainford, Essex in 1939, Ivy May Barrell (16 May 1915-1998) and in 1939, William was a commercial traveller for a wholesale grocer, living at 32 Staithe Road, Bungay, Suffolk with his wife Ivy. A member and exhibitor at the Beccles Society of Artists 1977-1990. William Bertram Ernest Chase died at Holmwood Residential Home, Bungay on 18 June 2010, aged 95.
