MARKLAND, Phyllis Mary
As Phyllis Mary Doidge, she was born at Colchester, Essex on 31 August 1918, daughter of Alfred Doidge (1883-1936), a deputy inspector at Severalls Hospital, Colchester, and his wife Phyllis Mary née Turner (1893-), who married at Colchester in 1914. Young Phyllis married at Colchester in 1950, Kenneth Arthur Markland. In 1963 they moved to Beccles, Suffolk where she was a member and exhibitor at the Beccles Society of Artists. Phyllis Mary Markland died in the Great Yarmouth district in 1996.
