STANDISH-KING, Kenneth
Kenneth Standish-King was born on 22 October 1914, son of Guy Standish King (5 November 1882-18 September 1955), a solicitor, and his wife Ethel née Worsdam (born 21 May 1883), who married at Guildford, Surrey in 1911. In 1939, an architect, living at 38 Lancaster Road, St Albans, Hertfordshire with his parents and was promulgated Lieutenant in the Royal Artillery in 1942. He married in Paris in 1946, Joan Pretty (24 August 1918-6 March 1996), daughter of Reginald Pretty. A member and exhibitor at the Beccles Society of Artists 1977-1988. Kenneth Standish-King died at 'Mtoni', Walpole, Halesworth, Suffolk on 23 October 1988 and buried at St Mary's Church, Walpole.
