Jan Tagg

Janet Ann Tagg was born at Camberwell, London in 1949. She trained as a printmaker and a printed textile designer, her work being inspired by fairy tales, myths and legends and the inherent qualities of disquiet and mystery that they evoke. Jan is also fascinated by the Assyrian relief sculpture in the British Museum and in the Louvre in Paris, these sculptures have formed the basis for some of her recent etchings. Jan regularly exhibits with Sudbourne Park Printmakers and has also exhibited at the Royal Academy Summer Exhibition also showing at many local and countrywide shows. She had her studio at Roslyn, The Street, Peasenhall, Saxmundham, Suffolk.
