ALDIS, Bob
Robert F. T. Aldis was born in the Deben district of Suffolk in 1945, son of Robert William E. Aldis (6 December 1915-2005), a painter & sign writer, and his wife Mary Irene née Smith (1 December 1920-2005), who married at Deben in 1944. From his early days, Bob made pencil drawings and after starting work took a Technical Drawing course and about 2009 began painting and joined the Felixstowe Art Group. Bob paints landscapes, portraits and genre subjects in oils and acrylics, and as a photographer, also paints from photographs. He married in the Samford district of Suffolk in 1966, Irene Banham. He exhibits at 'Art on the Prom' at Felixstowe from 56 Elizabeth Way, Felixstowe, Suffolk.
