TUTCHENER, Jane

As Jane E. Leonard, she was born at Newmarket, Suffolk in 1965, daughter of David J. Leonard and his wife Yvonne J. née Pettitt, who married at Newmarket in 1965. Jane was educated at Mildenhall Upper School and at Loughborough University, gaining a BSc (hons.) degree in Ecology. She married at Bury St Edmund's, Suffolk in 1986, Simon J. Tutchener and paints under the name of Jane Tutchener. A botanical & wildlife artist using coloured pencils to create detailed fine art drawings. Her home is in a rural area, rich in flora and fauna which has inspired her work, and she frequently travels with her husband to North America and the wonderful wildlife and landscapes have also influenced her painting. From her studio at 23 The Mallards, Lakenheath, Brandon, Suffolk, she produces a variety of handmade cards from her pictures, as well as selling original works and signed prints.
