LE MAISTRE, Michael John
Michael John Le Maistre was born at Bromley, Kent in 1933, second son of Leonard Jules Le Maistre (19 January 1906-2 March 1995), a stockkeeper, and his wife Lilian Mabel née Spickernell (16 June 1908-2001), who married at St Bartholomew's Catholic Church, Ellison Road, Streatham, London on 23 May 1931. Michael married secondly at Braintree, Essex in 1987, Pauline B. Lloyd. He moved to Sudbury about 2007 and was a member of the Lavenham Art Society exhibiting from 16 Chilton Lodge Road, Sudbury, Suffolk at the 'Visions of Sudbury' show at St Peter's church, Sudbury in 2009, a watercolour 'Water Meadows' and in 2013, a line & wash 'Friars Street, Sudbury'. Michael John Le Maistre died on 16 February 2023.
