McFEETERS, James Noel
James Noel McFeeters was born at 256 Seaford Road, Bangor, Co. Down, Ireland on 13 November 1904, second son of Revd James Baird McFeeters (5 December 1856-4 July 1930) and his wife Emily Marcella née Wilson (28 February 1870-7 September 1945), who married in 1896. In 1911, young James was living at 256 Seacliffe Road, Bangor, co. Down. Young James was educated at Bangor Grammar School and graduated from University with an M.Sc. and was a Member of the Institute of Civil Engineers. He lived at 40 Wandsworth Road, Belfast, travelling extensively in his work, to America in 1930, Gibraltar in 1934 and Lagos, Nigeria in 1937. He married in 1932, Catherine Rebecca Victoria Lowry (24 May 1911-20 June 1993) and they had one daughter Elizabeth Mary [Lee]. A member and exhibitor at the Norfolk & Norwich Art Circle in 1991 from 33a Earsham Street, Bungay, Suffolk. James Noel McFeeters died at Bungay on 24 February 1999.
