BOWERS, Lee
Lee Bowers was born at Ipswich in 1973, son of Stephen O. Bowers (born 1948), and his wife Wendy née Ward, who married at Ipswich in 1972. Lee has always been artistic which led to him studying art and design at Ipswich then specialising in fine art studying at degree level. Primarily working in oils, and landscape inspired, enjoying the freedom and the escapement. He was encouraged to return to painting by his partner Amanda J. Ayden (born 1964), living at Church Lane, Somersham, Ipswich and had a studio at Atrium Studios, University Campus Suffolk.
