Liza Adamczewski

Elizabeth Katherine Adamczewski, trained at Camberwell School of Arts & Crafts and took her M.A. at the Royal College of Art. Liza, as she is known, initially worked as an illustrator in London for clients such as 'Penguin', 'The Sunday Times', 'The Orient Express' and 'ICI'. About the year 2000, she moved to Coastguard Cottage, Sizewell Gap, Suffolk where her painting become intrinsically linked with Suffolk and its coastlines. A freelance artist and was Artist in Residence for Folk East and for the Royal Society for the Protection of Birds at the Suffolk South Coast Reserves. Her work is exhibited at Snape Maltings Galleries; Caroline Wiseman Modern and Contemporary, Aldeburgh and Glemham Hall in Suffolk but her work has been exhibited in galleries across the UK. Liza was working professionally as an artist from her Suffolk home but now living on a re-wilding farm in Haverfordwest, Pembrokeshire. Her work is in numerous private collections in Ireland, the UK, the USA, Canada, Germany, Austria, Denmark Sweden, Italy and France.
