John Roberts

John Roberts was an associate member of the Ipswich Art Club 1965-1969 and exhibited from The Lodge, Capel St Mary, Ipswich in 1965, three watercolours 'Bourne Bridge', 'Ufford Church' and 'The Mole Trap, Essex', in 1968 an oil portrait 'William Wells, Esq.' and in 1969 an oil 'Julie' and three watercolours 'Leycester Hospital, Warwick', 'Paper Mill Lock, Bramford' and 'The Old Forge, Bramford'. He married at Hastings, Sussex, Annette Eudora McCorkill, Annette Roberts and are the parents of Joanna Roberts, who form a team of artists working in a variety of media and styles, presenting work individually or as a group at Top Floor Gallery, Woodbridge. John has a lifetime in art and graphics mostly for the print and corporate sectors but always with a personal favourite specialising in oils including portraits. He now has his studio at Forge Cottage Studio, Ipswich Road, Charsfield, Suffolk. His pictures are in collections in Europe, Canada, North America, and Australia.
