MINNS, Ken
Kenneth R. Minns was born at Ipswich in 1952, son of Kenneth Frederick Minns (1929-8 November 2008) and his wife Doris E. Snell, who married at Ipswich in 1950. Ken married at Ipswich in 1971, Diane Vincent. An artist, mostly in oil using a small painting knife, but also works in other medias, working on self-prepared boards, painting a variety of subjects but preferring figures in seascapes, landscapes, or interiors. His work is on display at his studio at 18 Chapel Lane, Great Glemham, Saxmundham, Suffolk and is a former member of the Suffolk Open Studios but welcomes visitors at any times by appointment.
