MARTIN, Charles Sydney
Charles Sydney Martin was born at Wangford, Suffolk on 8 March 1915, son of Herbert Sydney Martin (8 November 1878-30 April 1947), an oil merchant, and his wife Ellen Bell née Bunn (9 May 1878-1 March 1944), who married at Loddon, Norfolk in 1912 and in 1939 were living at 28 Peddars Lane, Beccles, Suffolk. Charles married at Lothingland, Suffolk in 1939, Elsie Phyllis Nunn, Elsie Phyllis Martin and in 1939 was a general grocer & hardware retailer, living at Shrublands, Upper Grange Road, Beccles with his wife Elsie. A member and exhibiter at the Beccles Society of Artists 1977-1981. Charles Sydney Martin died at his home at 30 Peddars Lane, Beccles, Suffolk on 2 March 1981.
