EVERETT, Gwendoline
As Gwendoline Flora Graves de Medewe, she was born on 29 May 1890, daughter of Herbert Rouse Brewster Meadows (1846-27 May 1933) of Great Bealings, Suffolk who by the time of his marriage had assumed the name of De Medewe, and his wife Susan Ellen née Nicholls (1866-1910), who married at Barnet on 21 February 1887. As Gwendoline F G de Medewe, she exhibited at the New Barnet Eisteddfod in November 1906, an oil painting for which she was a prize winner. She married at Maidenhead, Berkshire in 1917, Frederick Everett. The Meadows family were of Witnesham Hall, near Ipswich and were neighbours and friends with Claude Lorraine Nursey of the Grove, Bealings, Suffolk. Gwendoline Flora Graves Everett died at Linden Wood, Wrotham, Kent on 9 December 1966.
