THELLUSSON, Emily Elizabeth Julia
As Emily Elizabeth Julia Thellusson, she was born on 31 August 1817, daughter of John, 2nd Baron Thellusson (1785-1832), and his second wife Anne Sophia née Tatnall (1797-1856), 2nd daughter and co-heiress of William Tatnall, of Leiston Old Abbey, Suffolk, who married on 26 March 1816. A pupil of artist Henry Bright during his London period 1836-1856. She married on 25 October 1847, as his second wife, Thomas De Grey, 5th Baron Walsingham, and had issue. Emily Elizabeth Julia Walsingham died on 13 May 1879, and buried at Merton, Norfolk.
