ADAMS, Helen Mary
As Helen Mary Dallmeyer, she was born at 'Beech Bank', Stamford Road, Bowdon, Bucklow, Cheshire on 7 June 1903, third of the four children of Richard Owen John Dallmeyer (22 April 1869-21 January 1949), a solicitor, and his wife Helen Cowan née Menzies (7 December 1874-16 February 1961), who married in Edinburgh c.1899. In 1939, Helen was a commercial artist, living at Greenbank, Grundisburgh, Ipswich with her parents. She married at Grundisburgh in 1941 George Mills Adams (15 July 1906-1994), who was born in Bengal, India. Helen Mary Adams died at 5 Lee Road, Aldeburgh, Suffolk on 31 January 1990.
