POTTER, Annie Marion
Annie Marion Potter was born in Derbyshire on 16 March 1879 and baptised at Darley Dale on 18 May 1879, youngest child of Charles Potter, coach builder & wheelwright, and his wife Catherine. In 1891, Annie was a 10-year-old, living at Mill House, Darley Bridge, Bakewell, Derbyshire with her parents, 60-year-old Charles and 51-year-old Catherine, with siblings John Allen 28, Kate 27, George 23, Charles Herbert 21, Henriette Elizabeth Margaret 19 and Frederic 16, all born in Derbyshire. In 1939, Annie was a 'miniature painter' living at Green Hedges, Gipping, Suffolk with her unmarried elder sister Kate Potter (24 August 1862-1957). Annie Marion Potter died at 11 Glenleigh Gardens, Bexhill-on-Sea, Sussex on 2 January 1968, she was unmarried.
