HERRMANN, Henri
Henri Herrmann was born at Seebach, Achern, Baden, Germany on 13 July 1836. In the 1908 Kelly's Directory of Ipswich, he is noted as an artist living at 40 High Street, Ipswich and in 1911, an artist professor of Legerdemain (conjuring), still living at 40 High Street, Ipswich, with a 42-year-old wife Marie, who was born at Lavenham, Suffolk, and they had three boarders. Possibly not an artist painter although still listed under artists in Kelly's Directory of Ipswich 1912. He and his wife frequently travelled to New York and his wife Marie was a widow when she died was of 4 Avenue du Leman, Lausanne, Switzerland on 7 June 1926.
