DREWELL, Samuel Bye
Samuel Bye Drewell was born at Southwold, Suffolk in 1839, son of Robert Drewell and his wife Matilda Ann, née Bye, who married at St George Hanover Square, London in 1835. In 1861, a 22-year-old artist, living at Queen Street, Southwold with his 46-year-old mother Matilda, a shopkeeper. He was buried at Southwold on 1 June 1873, his age being given incorrectly as 32, he was unmarried.
