WEST, Peggy
Peggy Winifred West was born at Ipswich on 7 November 1932, daughter of John William West (25 July 1890-27 May 1979), a coach painter, and his wife Katie Jane née Green (31 December 1895-16 February 1983), who married at Ipswich in 1923. In 1939, Peggy was at school, living at 54 Myrtle Road, Ipswich with her parents and as 12-year-old Miss Peggy West, exhibited at the Ipswich Art Club in 1944, a painting 'Anxiety'. Peggy married at Ipswich in 1953, Dennis George Mason (1921-1991). Peggy Winifred Mason died at Ipswich in 1971.
