JONES, Vicky
Victoria Jones has spent most of her working life teaching Art and Design, both in secondary schools and art college, inspiring young people to think creatively and explore and experiment with a range of materials and processes. Since retirement she has focused on developing her own work, producing woodcuts and etchings, and experimenting with drypoint. Her main interest are landscapes but has also produced portraits. Inspired by the beautiful Suffolk landscape which encourages her to sketch, which becomes a starting point for a print. She had lived in West Wales for many years, and regularly returns to the places which hold happy memories which are also an inspiration for her prints. Victoria Jones lives at Woodbridge, Suffolk with her husband Gareth John Jones.
