Thom Hobson

Thomas Edward L Trojanowski Hobson was born at Kidderminster, Worcestershire in 1988, son of Peter R. Hobson and his wife Malgorzata Ewa née Trojanowska, who married at Worcester in 1986, a sister to both Ania Hobson and Kasia Hobson. Thom studied on a foundation course at Suffolk College, Ipswich and at Wimbledon College of Arts, London 2012-2015, graduating B.A. in Fine Art Painting. After completing his degree Thom and his wife Stevie Dix moved to Antwerp for greener and cheaper pastures, painting there for a year after which they came to Suffolk. He has exhibited at Suffolk College, Ipswich; Aldeburgh Gallery; The Barn, Farnham and Wingfield Barns, in Suffolk; Brixton East Gallery, Norwich; Mercer Gallery, and Flee Studios, all in London; the Hans Brinker Budget Trophy, Hans Brinker Hotel, Amsterdam; Tyler School of Art, Philadelphia and elsewhere from the Asylum Studios, Bentwaters Park, Woodbridge, Suffolk which he shared with his wife.
