8+1 SUFFOLK GROUP
8+1 Suffolk Group was launched at Woodbridge, Suffolk at Easter 1985 by a group of nine Suffolk Artists - John Constable, Ken Cuthbert, Evangeline Dickson, Yvonne Drewry, Pris Forrest, David Hazelwood, Charles Longbotham, Mark Miller and Anne Paterson Wallace - as a means of putting together a group that could manage and present their own exhibitions. Their first show was at Broughton Gallery, Lanarkshire in August 1985. The Group carried on for many years but has since disbanded.
