HART, Hilda
Hilda Hart was born at Woodbridge, Suffolk in 1865, daughter of John Brook Hart and his wife, Anna Marie Smith (1839-23 December 1927) who married at Great Bealings, near Woodbridge on 29 September 1859. In 1871, Hilda was a 5-year-old living at The Thoroughfare, Woodbridge with her parents and three siblings Mabel 10, Hubert Willingham 4 and Francis John Brook 1, all born at Woodbridge. Hilda is listed in the Ipswich Art Club catalogue in 1883 but she does not seem to have exhibited but did exhibit at the Woodbridge Fine Art Exhibition at the Lecture Hall, Woodbridge in April 1883, a painted Terra Cotta Plate and a set of watercolour 'Dinner Cards'.
