OLD JET ARTS CENTRE
Old Jet is a unique arts centre on the former U.S. Air Force Base and Bentwaters Park at Rendlesham, Suffolk which was founded in 2013. The heart of Old Jet is a two storey ex-maintenance office block that provides studio and office space for people working within the arts. It is home to painters, photographers, writers, clothing designers and musicians, ideal for self-employed artists or people who want to share a space or for small companies. They have several flexible spaces that are frequently used for events, filming, photo-shoots, and rehearsals. They also supply arts-based storage for theatre companies, touring music artists and more. They also have weekly life-drawing sessions and a vintage and makers market on the first Saturday of each month that raises money for local good causes.
