Chris Milham

Christopher Charles Milham was a professional jewellery designer, maker, and gemstone setter before taking up art. He studied commercial art at Rochester College of Art and Design and now works as a professional artist. He lived in Kent before moving to Suffolk’s Blyth Valley and has a studio/gallery at Henstead Arts and Crafts Centre. Chris’s paintings are modern contemporary with a little abstract, inspired by Samuel Peploe (1871-1935) by adhering to the styles, tones and colour notes of his artworks and Chris works in oil, acrylic or watercolour and his paintings are modern contemporary with a little abstract. Chris is a member of the Easterly Artists, Southwold Arts Circle, Beccles Society of Artists, East Suffolk Plein Air Artists and Suffolk Open Studios from Henstead Arts and Crafts Centre, Toad Row, Henstead. His paintings are exhibited in Kent and at Earsham Hall Art Gallery, Bungay and Ferini Art Gallery, Pakefield and he has had solo shows at York Street Gallery, Ramsgate; Burley Gallery, Birchington; Amezarr Gallery, Birchington and at Strood Gallery, Rochester.
