LITCHFIELD, Geoff

Geoffrey W Litchfield was born in Leicester in 1958, son of Maurice Frank Litchfield (20 May 1925-1986) and his wife Thelma née Julian (19 December 1926-27 March 1999), who married at Leicester in 1946. Geoff trained as a Fine Artist, completing a degree at Leicester Polytechnic in 1980 and, after graduation, became a member of the Fosse Artists Group in Leicester. He worked in a wide variety of educational establishments, teaching art and design to all ages and across a wide range of levels during which time he exhibited in group shows. Geoff was an artist and teacher for more than 40 years, is now retired from delivering art education full time. A member and exhibitor at Easterly Artists in 2021 and has exhibited at the Ikon Gallery, Birmingham; St. Martin’s Gallery, Leicester; Town Hall, Dieppe; The Forum, Norwich; Ferini Art Gallery, Pakefield; Buckenham Galleries, Southwold and elsewhere. He lives in Lowestoft, Suffolk.
