Kate Ackerley was educated Bristol and the Sorbonne, Paris and graduated B.A. (hons) in Drama and French and took a postgraduate certificate in education (PGCE) with specialism in arts and creative language from Cambridge with a Common Professional Examination/Postgraduate Diploma in Law. Living in Suffolk, Kate is a Member of the National Federation of Spiritual Healers and a creative and integrative artist and therapist, working primarily in oils and pastels, and a leader and facilitator of workshops and courses entitled The Creative and Silent Self series. She uses creative exercises, including drawing, pastels, paint, clay work, collage etc, creative writing of poetry and prose, journaling, visualisation, and meditation.
