Robert Buttle completed a weekend course in the Cotswolds in 2014. Painting Bertie, as he is known, will paint or draw most things but faces and portraits is what he enjoys most. Working as an electrical engineer for a utility company in the East of England and painting most nights and weekends and painting for enjoyment. A member of the Ipswich Art Society, and his painting 'Lilly' was accepted in The Artist and Leisure Painter Open Exhibition in 2019 for which he was awarded the Winston Oh prize.
