DENBY, David

1946 - ?

David Gregory Denby was born in Guildford, Surrey in 1946. He studied at the Royal Academy Schools 1968-1971 where his tutors included Peter Blake (born 1932), Patrick Caufield (1936-2005), William Scott (1913-1989), Edward Bawden and Fred Dubery. He married at Bury St Edmund's, Suffolk in 1994 Andrea Horvath and they had two daughters. A member of the Royal Academy Schools East Anglia Group and exhibited at the Royal Academy also showing at Chappel Galleries, Essex and at several London galleries from 1994 including the Royal Academy and the Fine Art Society and Gunilla Ahlstrom showed his work at Galleri 1+1 in Sweden 1972-1995. His paintings are in private collections all over the world.
