Cathy D’Arcy spent her childhood in East Africa and Kuwait which was filled with vibrant colours and designs which have stayed with her and continues to be an important inspiration in her work. On returning to England Cathy studied textiles and interior design at London College of Furniture and Ceramics. Her creative journey resumed in a new direction when she discovered playing with clay and about 2005, she and her family settled in Suffolk where she has been creating her ceramics. She has exhibited at Anglian Potters at Walberswick; Artworks East; Blackthorpe Barn, Rougham; Cornhall Ceramic Exhibition, Diss; Mill Tye Gallery, Sudbury; St Peter’s Print Fair, Sudbury and elsewhere. A member of Suffolk Open Studios from Corner House, Straw Lane, Sudbury, Suffolk.
