PRINTROOM STUDIO
Printroom was started in Hampstead in 2006 and in 2014 it moved to Sweffling near Stowmarket in Suffolk where it lives happily in a large, converted shed. It exhibits at the studio and online, signed, and numbered prints made by artist-printmakers in all print mediums: etching, lithography, screen print, relief print, laser cut and a few carefully chosen digital prints, which are digitally conceived and printed in small, limited editions with fully archival materials with prices set by the artist and not the gallery. Printroom selects work of the highest quality by a wide range of innovative and challenging artists ranging from recent graduates to the mature and well established. There is a library and sitting area where one can browse through books and periodicals about printmaking. Printroom also has a specialist conservation framer who can frame any artwork. Printroom is owned and directed by Monica Petzal.
