BURY ST EDMUND'S ART GALLERY
The Bury St Edmunds Art Gallery Trust was founded in 1972. The Gallery was registered at 27 College Street, Bury St Edmund's and was an educational charity which promoted the best contemporary art, craft, and design from Britain and abroad to support the professional development of artists in and around Bury St Edmund's. It achieved this through exhibitions, the craft shop, projects with artists, publications and educational and marketing events and activities. It operated from Market Cross, Bury St Edmund's with an art gallery, workshops and craft shop and had eight exhibitions a year of modern work. It was dissolved in 2019.
