GARNHAM , Robert William
Robert William Garnham was born in Ipswich on 21 July 1936, son of Sidney Clarence Garnham (12 February 1912-28 July 2003) and his wife Lily May née Self (20 April 1908-1970), who married at Ipswich in 1933 and in 1939 were living at 6 Salisbury Road, Ipswich. Bob, as he was known, studied at the Ipswich Art School. He married at Ipswich in 1959 Pamela Joyce Tooth (1940-1990), and they had three sons including artist Robert Garnham, jun. born in 1959. Robert William Garnham died at Ipswich on 17 May 2001.
