CADOGAN CONTEMPORARY

1980 - ?

Cadogan Contemporary opened the doors to their first gallery in South Kensington, London in 1980 and is an independent contemporary art gallery with spaces in London and Milan. The gallery specialises in both abstract and realistic works from the 20th and 21st centuries. For over forty years their mission has been to represent, support and curate the work of a diverse roster of emerging and established artists. Artists who have been seen there include, Timothy Gibbs, Nicholas Grainger-Taylor, Arthur Neal, Daphne McClure, her daughter Emma McClure, Sarah Armstrong-Jones, Duffy Ayers, Anne Rothenstein and Dick Lee. In 2023, they added a new international perspective to their distinctive exhibitions programme by opening a gallery in Milan. With an artist-focussed approach and strong aesthetic identity, the new space highlights the works of artists that have evolved with us since the gallery's founding, as well as a new generation of emerging artists.
