AFFORDABLE ART FAIR

1999 - ?

The first Affordable Art Fair took place in London’s Battersea Park in October 1999 when ten thousand art lovers descended upon the fair to browse and buy thousands of original contemporary paintings, sculptures, photographs and prints in a relaxed environment. They now hold fairs in ten cities around the world including London, New York, Hong Kong, Hamburg, Amsterdam, Brussels, Singapore, Stockholm, Melbourne and Sydney, with three new fairs launching in 2024, Austin, Berlin and Brisbane. Each year they welcome around 220,000 art enthusiasts to their fairs globally, where they can discover a mix of local, national, and international galleries displaying a wide array of affordable artworks by established artists and rising stars. Affordable Art Fair Hampstead takes place in spring on Hampstead Heath, displaying the best in contemporary art from over one hundred galleries from the UK and around the world with 1,000s of stunning artworks from £50 – £7,500, alongside emerging artist displays.
