The Nuneaton Technical Education Committee ran science and art classes during the 1890s. From 1923-1939 and from 1946-1961 Nuneaton School of Art was based at the Nuneaton Museum and Art Gallery at Riversley Park. In 1952 the School of Art amalgamated with the Technical College and in 1958 six college sites were consolidated on the Hinckley Road, Nuneaton campus. The college was renamed North Warwickshire College of Technology and Art, then merged with Hinckley College in 1996 to become North Warwickshire and Hinckley College. Another merger in 2017, this time with South Leicestershire College, formed North Warwickshire and South Leicestershire College.
