Ruth Elizabeth Jane Waller was born at Waldringfield Rectory, Suffolk on 16 March 1909, daughter of Revd Arthur Pretyman Waller, and his wife Constance Julia Trevor (3 June 1873-10 July 1954), eldest daughter of Revd George Trevor, who married at St Michael's Church, Boroughbridge, Harrogate on 25 January 1903. As Miss Ruth Waller, member of the Ipswich Art Club 1943-1946 but had exhibited from Waldringfield Rectory from 1932 two works, 'Waldringfield' and 'Ramsholt Lock', in 1933 'Near Walton Battery' and a watercolour 'Covehithe', in 1935 two watercolours 'Walberswick' and 'Iken', in 1937 'Framsden Mill', she also exhibited in 1941, 'Chipping Camden' and 'Framsden Mill' again, in 1942 'Broad Campden' and 'Bullaces', in 1945 watercolours 'After D-Day Landings', 'The Marsh Gate' and 'A Rural Scene' and in 1946 'The Cart Shed' which seems to have been her last. Ruth Elizabeth Jane Waller had lived at Waldringfield Rectory for the whole of her life and where she died on 29 December 1946, aged 37, she was unmarried.
